    That Wii version looks like it is going to be good. Looking forward to sabre fight with my son. We can get rid of the plastic swords :-)

    /crosses fingers this is as good in reality as it is in my mind...

    Still no-one to explain how the Wii hardware is going to handle running all three of those physics engines at once, though.

    simple - ps3 will hurl 100's of bits around and Wii 10's of bits. A the end of the day it will be just as much fun as you'll be playing it and not looking at how many bits are bouncing around

    @Saladin

    It was explained. The PS2/Wii/PSP and DS versions do not have the physics.

    So which one out of the 4 skus won't be utter utter shit. I have absolutely no faith in this lot to come up with anything of merit, constant dev diarys with the same shite footage every bloody time, no indication as to the variety to be found or anything more than Jedi Outcast.

    Oh wow you can smash a window, just... wow...

    Oh look if i hit this button on the touchscreen he will do a prescripted move... jesus.

    The Wii version looks good. The fact that they're only showing the DS version from a distance (with the whole DS in frame) and not up close isn't a good sign. Naturally no-one expects the DS version to look anywhere close to the next gen versions, but when they only show you the zoomed out version of the action chances are that it's poor even for the hardware that it's on.

    ...in terms of gfx then.

    Anyway...

    /waits for reviews...

    Oh, I'm with Spanky on this one. It looks like a first gen PS2 game at best. So unless they've got the control mechanism spot-on immersive it's looks like rather a large mmmeeh from where I'm standing.

    \cleans the fan switches and goes home

    Will the movement and orientation of the wiimote translate directly to that of the on screen lightsabre? (is that even possible given the limits of the 'motes sensors?)

    Or will there be a specific 'moves' that you have to carry out - that really might as well be mapped to buttons on a regular controller because at least when you press a button there is little room for misinterpretation.

    This is the same video we saw before but edited to only show the Wii and DS. I really want this game to be good, but the Wiimote can't respond to movement to make it really like wielding a lightsaber. I'm really skeptical that this'll turn out well on the Wii. I predict Twilight Princess-like "swordplay".
