While I trust Bioware to have a really good stab at putting that fourth pillar of Story (as they put it) into an MMORPG, I wonder if the reason that no one has done it before is that it simply doesn't work?

Even with a separate, huge story per class, you're still talking about thousands of people experiencing the same quests, and if there's one thing that cannot change in any major way, it's the game world; there's no way to "be the hero" in any meaningful way when there's someone standing behind you waiting to complete the exact same quest.

OR: Is it all relative? Does it matter if I only see my part in the story and how heroic I am? Lich King manages to make you feel that little bit special with the Wrathgate and little comments about your capabilities as a hero, and at the end of the day, for a lot of people, that's enough.

I want a great single player experience with the option of dabbling in the MM parts of the MMO - a couple of friends along for the ride will be just fine.

So actually, I really don't know what to make of it - I hope it's a fantastic game that brings a lot of new ideas to the table in terms of quests, dialogue and story.

I guess only time will tell...

It will be just like LOTRO epic quest line but with a dark/light side twist. That is a good thing BTW!

Hopefully it will be as MMO as you the player wants it to be, you can either do things with the computer AI players or jump in and out of games Fable 2 style. That would suit me down to the ground.

Hell I think if you had the option to have a mate control Carth Onasi or HK-47 in the original, and chat with you while you're mashing up some Sith mother funkies, then most people would like that.

I am looking forward to this epic saga-esque game so much, I think I actually pooed a little. Stay positive, I'm sure this will be a grand old game!!! Bioware baby!!!!!
