This is simply raw b-roll (i.e. unedited footage) that was given out at THQ's recent Gamers' Day event in San Francisco.

is this just an FPS or does it have some RPG elements?

I dunno, I really want to like this, combat looks good, weapons look well modeled, I just dunno... maybe it's because I'm a graphics tart, the graphics are looking a little ummm dated?

Hmmm....

There are supposed to be some RPG elements, yes. There are these artifacts around the zone that you need to find. They'll be able to enhance your character in some ways. And the weapons are supposed to be upgradeable.. But you don't' have experience points and levels (THANK GOD!).

Yeah, those graphics look a bit crusty in places. Still, the game looks pretty good.

Do you think there's any chance of a 360 version of this?

Meira, my hopes are that this is going to be like Deus Ex or System Shock 2, but with less clunky combat, in a huge fairly open world.

EDIT: that's probably aiming high but I can hope.

That's pretty accurate. The combat is much better than SS2 or Deus Ex.

I thought Deus Ex had excellent combat. I'm hoping for a Deus Ex in an Oblivion-like world. Now THAT'S asking too much :P
