Looks awesome, and I don't think it looks kiddie at all. Fun and quirky yes, but not kiddie.

I compressed impression of last year GDC presentation is all the design and PR people behind this could come up with?

Don't forget that even though the games has a little exaggerated stylings, this video is even more exaggerated.
