I remember that a version of Black and White was supposed to be released for Xbox. That never made it, though. Conversely, there is Battle for Middle Earth II confirmed for 360, so maybe, happily, times are changing?

Very pretty video, but what's the aim of the game? I make a critter, then push a bunch of other similar creatures about...Odd.

There's more to it than that. In fact it seems to be multiple games in one. Check out the GDC video on Google video somewhere, then you can see other parts of it with Will Wright commentating.

Nah, definitely the PC version, look at the cursor, console cursors dont move around like that because an anologue stick isn't as pecise as a mouse. Still, gonna be an ownage game

Bloody hell. That was more boring than watching Will Wright talk about it for an hour (which was actually very interesting). Game looks incredible but this demo is no...er...demo.

Sigh, from the very beginning I've considered Spore to be an overhyped, overrated dog's breakfast of a concept. I wouldn't even call it a game, and this trailer confirms my thoughts on it.

"Evolution" on the Apple ][ did it 25 years ago.
