Activision's latest stab at the Spider-Man IP is all about a symbiote invasion of Manhatttan, with nasty alien parasite Venom running the show for the bad guys. Spidey must team up with denizens of the city, on both sides of the moral divide, to combat the invasion.

Gotta say, that actually looks rather good. I loved Spiderman 2, despite the bloody awful combat. Not so keen on SM3 though. Hopefully this has all the swinging joy (quiet at the back) of SM2 with better combat.

Looks great but, they need to stop the web swinging looking like he's swinging on thin air. Maybe the web swinging from SM3 with this new combat model will do it.

Personally i dont think it looks that good. I remember spiderman 2 and this doesnt seem that much of a leap forward.

looks like fun..... for about an hour. REPETATIVENESS that is what they needed to work on not bloody swinging around whilst fighting! god damn it stop making spiderman games suck already!

So basically, 90% of the combat consists of jumping on your foes and springing off them like an overexcited diving board.

Could get repetitive...
