As far as we can remember, Speedball was one those Jack Thompson infuriating 'life imitating art' games which resulted in almost as much inter-player violence off-screen as on. Now we're all older and wiser, will our petulance have ebbed any?

Looks like a scifi version of something I was working on, what with the aggressive ball throwing. And the way the ball bounces back to the player who threw it. And the sliding. And the jumping. And the kicking enemies around in mid air. And not shitty.

Im sooo scared this is gonna be shit.

I hope the gameplay is faster than that rendered footage.
