Ok on a serious note I quite like this guest character trend in beat em ups. It's not as if they are most serious games in the world or that it'll really harm the deep and complex storylines. Although saying that I can't see Yoda working. Surely all the moves will just go over his head. The size difference will break it.
So in summary; guests good if appropriately sized. So no Frodo Baggins guesting in a Gundam game. (and before you post it having him piloting a giant robot suit himself would just be silly.)
