The as yet 'unconfirmed' Sonic Unleashed has a surprising amount of assets available for a non-existent game, what with this video and the accompanying gallery. We're figuring things might be a little too far down the development pipe to cancel them now...

I can't help but feel that creating a huge 3D envinronment and then letting Sonic only run along a predetermined 2D path seems a little pointlessly restrictive.

The Hedgehog has had his day. Let him go, Sega.

From what I heard this was accidentally put up on SEGA's FTP server. Got pulled quickly but I guess they couldn't stop it from spreading.
