I had to remind myself this is on Wii. It looks very tidy. The usual worries about Speed x Control remain though.

Wow. Those graphics are amazing! Seriously, that puts a lot of 360/PS3 games to shame.

I miss good sonic games... Sonic got me into video games when I was younger. Another year and another hope that sega release a great sonic game. I can't keep living like this, getting my hopes up for a decent sonic game only to feel used and very dirty after a couple of hours of play time!

This does look good though... Oh no, it has begun again!

The music is about as horrible as in Sonic and the secret rings or whatever that was called. Hopefully it will be the only thing these two have in common because I found the secret rings really, really weak

The music might just be for the trailer or from the intro to the game but, even so, I know we'll never get the awesome techno sounds of Sonic CD again. "Work that suckah to death, c'mon now!" - so, so very awesome.

Looks quite good actually, seems to have similar gameplay to the secret rings, which actually worked quite well for a 3D sonic game
Just one minor quibble (apart from the music) - What in the name of fuck is a floating octopus doing in a sonic game???

I agree with Cadence: the music is very hummable, only let down by the make-it-up-as-you-go-along, plucking-rhyming-couplets-from-your-arse lyrics.

Hold on a minute... I don't suppose Richard Jacques is behind the Sonic Colors soundtrack, too, is he? A quick google tells me he last worked on Sonic and the Black Knight, so he must still be kicking about.

It'sway too fast. Does nobody in Sega remember how the old sonic games worked? They had quite slow sections of platforming with speedy sections in between them that felt like a reward.
