Exclusive: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories gameplay

We're not sure how seriously to take the warning at the start of this clip, because we're not sure how much capacity the Wii has for psyche analysis, but it certainly adds to the tension.

So, for a gameplay video of a psychological survival horror game they preview a so-so conversation while staring at a woman's tits. Looks great!

hmm after the video is over ther's another conversation if you wait 25-30 seconds, in a bit different tone

That cutscene in the first game was odd and stilted but I liked the sort of dreamlike quality it had - as if the characters were dozily sleep walking only half aware of their terrifying situation. Or was it bad acting, either way I liked it.

This scene feels a bit similar - good on them.

Thanks to Narie for pointing out the second conversation - I would have missed it.

From the sounds of the second conversation it looks like the scene can go one of two ways. This suggests that there is an option to determine how you approach people. Like the mass effect "polite, neutral and agressive" conversation branches.

EG, this video is obviously broken, you should get back to Konami and get a new version...

@penhalion in principle yes, but whereas a title like Mass Effect gives you a conversation choice in a menu, in Shattered Memories the conversation and appearances of events are determined by how you've played the game up to that point. It tracks everything, including how long you ogle her jubblies.

Only a man would focus on her breasts whilst she's speaking lol

btw, please don't except this as ok from a top class dev like Konami ,having brought such classics as SH1 (and in my opinion SH2 > SH1) and of course MGS1&MGS3 they should come out with a better script! Although I actually think that is a problem with a lot of games (& hollywoods fear that we can't "get" anything). tut tut
