This game looks better and better each time. I am genuinely excited by this.

    However, 2 points:

    1. Worst Ninja ever - falling over and stuff like that, is it really necessary. You want your ninja to feel like the ultimate badass!
    2. I'm hoping the FMV's will be tarted up a bit - they seem very low res for what are key moments in the game.

On the whole though I am very much looking forward to this. Loved the first Shogun game.

I agree that this is looking very good, but I also agree that the slightly odd "comedy" in the cutscene seemed out of place. It could have been played for drama a lot more effectively.

towser - Those worst ninja ever moments are probably hooks for when the ninja fails. In the first game, they always kept me on the edge of my seat wondering if I'd fail or not.

That said, I know what you mean...

Tbh, the quality is EXACTLY the same as Shogun 1!(which says two things, that they were really good for their time but not satisfying in this day and age.

If you ever watched any assasination movies from Rome, Medieval and Shogun you know that the sense of humor has always been a part of them, so not change there:)

Looking forward to this game, it might wash away the bad taste in my mouth called Empire.....

He does level up after a succesfull kill, perhaps he gets better over time and less of a slap stick ninja.

Hurrah - they've finally got a rotating campaign map after 10 years.

Well, I am easily impressed after all.

Slapstick comedy is a constant in Total War's movies. So, right on track here.
