naval combat is what we want. and not the arcadey one from Napoleon and Empire. Proper realistic naval combat where you have to chase someone for 2 days real time and then eventually they get away or you run across an enemy squadron who blows you out of the water.

damn the trailer makes me want to buy..but i just dont trust them anymore after the lies of ETW. Its all talk...but will any of it actually work? will the AI actually provide a challenge or just be a bug-riddle half scripted mess...

ETW was about the American Revolution? Buh? The US wasn't even a playable sodding faction.

So do you think they imported a Japanese lady to do this or they're just putting the accent on?

@kingmohg: Naval combat, in Sengoku-era Japan? Do you even know what timezone this is set in, or the dynamics of battle at the time? Naval battles were almost non-existent!

Just helps demonstrate how ETW wasn't even close to its potential. The setting should have made it the landmark TW game, the best of the best but instead it turned out to be the weakest of the bunch.

Agreed. Rome is still the best one in the bunch imo. Shogun 2 needs to be really great to make me go for it.

After seeing The Last Samurai on TV again, makes me want this game, but normally the games on first release usually blue screen my PC's, so i think i might wait a little before getting it. Oh and I want another Rome game :)

They keep saying that they've sorted the AI after every iteration. Bet it's still fucked.

Will it have supersaiyan monks capable to deal vs infantry in 1 : 100 proportion as in the first one?

Aside from these ridiculous problem, the first one was great; I'll buy this one in March.
