SEGA Superstars Tennis - Trailer

SEGA is breaking out the character roster for a festival of racquet-based sporting shenanigans in this luridly colourful tennis title. Don't expect quiet courts and respectful opponents however, this is to Wimbledon what Mario Kart is to Le Mans.

    Ahh and Sega have finally realised the Nintendo formula, guess it wont be long before Sonic Strikers, Sonic Kart but as long as its a better game Who Cares!

    The trick with these games is getting the right balance between decent sports game and stupid power shots. Lets hope they get it right.

    I think it's in Japan that his name has always been Dr Eggman. In Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast SEGA began using Eggman instead of Robotnik here too. I think Sonic jokes "oh look, it's a giant talking egg" or something, to bridge the gap.

    That was a nice, cheerful trailer! Told us diddly squat about what the game will be like, but it put me in a good mood. :) Good use of old-school Sonic SFX, too...

    ...though was it necessary for Sonic to actually KILL Eggman with his shot? I mean, it's only a game of tennis...

    Would have been nice to have seen some ACTUAL gameplay footage instead of a pre-rendered video that no doubt plays if you don't press START on the title screen. I'm pretty sure that the game proper will not be anything like that video.

    Sega are getting better now all they need to do is make Shenmue 3 now God dam it.

    um, just a thought. since they've included beat and uhlala, does that mean that we're gonna get a 'jet set radio' and 'space channel 5' update? i hope so. sega could milk so much more out of these two!

    It would have been much more symbolic if Sonic had knocked Alex Kidd out instead of Amigo :p

    The trailer is fun, just hope the game is good. Riders had Ulala, NiGHTS and AiAi and still sucked like a supercharged Hoover.
