Ah, so the earlier screenshots were slightly touched up, right? Like, 100% pre rendered? :(

I'm definitely interested in this if they can manage split screen...and, no, that isn't a polite way of saying tearing;-)

Hmmm, that's a very low/wide angle camera -- the usual trick employed to convey some sense of speed. Don't think it can make up for the framerate though -- Sega Rally must be 60fps, or you lose the whole feel (see Dreamcast SR2).

Hope it is just a trick of the crappy video streaming on here, but to my eye's it seems, to become 30/60fps super smooth for about 1 second on each of the laps.

For me - If your not hitting 60fps with an arcade racer, it isn't an arcade racer. People may forgive, sloppy framerates for something great happening on screen [not me though], as shown by Colin McDirty. But it is mainly simulation based games that seem to get off lightly when running less than 30fps rock solid, and this does not look like a simulation.

I predict bad things, shame as the guy talking at all the interviews comes across very well - Maybe they have time to pull it out of the bag yet?

I think anyone trying to judge the frame rate of anything from streaming flash video is being a tad unfair, to be honest.

This looks a load of old cobblers, I left this sort of game back on Blackpool pleasure beach.

I hate the inane Sega twangy guitar as well.

Dirt looks much nicer.

I'd like to assume that everyone who uses Eurogamer does so because they respect the opinions of EG. So when EG starts to bash on about how good a game is, give it two previews, a hands on write up, a massive section on a EG:TV episode and then decides to capture its own gameplay trailers, that people would pick up on the fact that EG thinks the game will be fairly special. So comments like, 'look s really disapointing' or 'looks a bit boring' baffles me!

I cant wait for this to be released tbh
