For me - If your not hitting 60fps with an arcade racer, it isn't an arcade racer. People may forgive, sloppy framerates for something great happening on screen [not me though], as shown by Colin McDirty. But it is mainly simulation based games that seem to get off lightly when running less than 30fps rock solid, and this does not look like a simulation.
I predict bad things, shame as the guy talking at all the interviews comes across very well - Maybe they have time to pull it out of the bag yet?
