Whichever way you look at it, 130 million is a big number. RuneScape might not loom as large in the public eye as many commercial MMO's, but to an awful lot of people, it's pretty much a second home.

There's an improvement, as it showed. But not that much of an improvement that you have to go "ape" for it.

People as usual miss the context. This is a browser game, it's not tailored for a high-performance console but an old farty browser running on a farty computer, like the ones they have in schools.

and seriously guys, it's a freakin java/browser game, how can you say the graphics are shite? name a better looking 3D java game...

Though it looks more advanced that what it usually looked like, it does seem like Jagex has aimed higher then what Runescape was intended to be, which I think may be the wrong turn, seeing that they're now managing two websites. (FunOrb & Runescape)
