Somehow the whole "25 years in the making" seems like Nintendo taking a subtle dig at that old "years in the making and a cast of thousands" Final Fantasy 7 commercial from way back. Nintendo still hates that game because it knocked them off their console dominance pedestal.

Compared to other Nintendo adverts I've seen recently, I actually liked that one. The recent Super Mario 3D Land one where Dad and kid overreact to everything in the game just makes me cringe.

I also hate it when people with a "celebrity status" help to lend further credence to the theory that my favourite hobby is in fact a legitimate activity that isn't just for children. Bastards

Although, annoyingly, I do think he is quite irritating, fair play to him for doing this. It's not like he needs the money.
