Trying to 'beat' WoW by claiming not to be it but still being the same 'classic' style - it's backfired before it's going to again sadly.

This is why I'm more in favour of supping DC and Guild Wars 2 atm, they are trying to do somthing different at least in the combat system and style of game, 'WoW' has been done and dusted so many times and failed to clone the success, I don't get why publishers and devs continue to flog the same dead horse

It tends to be the norm that when MMO developers make bold statements against WoW, they tend to crash and burn.

"We're not in Azeroth anymore."

I'm half expecting a "We shouldn't have challenged WoW" article on here two years from now.

"We're not in business any more" will be the tag line this time next year.

This will be killed off by a content patch for WoW that'll be timed to coincide with its launch.
