    Where is RE6 Capcom?

It would've made your insanely disappointing press conference so much better...

Played this with Move controls last night, it's pretty good, takes some getting used to and a bit of a fiddle with the sensitivity but overall it's good.

It's not "about" move controls now either but who wouldn't Wanna get clean quick headshots everytime?

"I don't really know why they keep going on about RE5"

    Who is "they"?

"Resident Evil was never about how many natives you can take down with move controls, get back to the roots of the series or watch it die a very quick death."

It was Resident Evil sticking to it's roots that had the series stagnating and already dying a death until RE4 revitalised the franchise.

...and then it stagnated with RE5 again. :p

Honestly tho, I'd love to see another RE game with similar gameplay and graphics as 5 but with far more weight on exploration and scares, and less emphasis on action. RE5 was not a horror game, but an action game. That was the biggest disappointment imo. In 4 they at least had a creepy setting and some scares.

Well reading that, it means the Move controls for RE5 are identical to the Wiimote controls for RE4. You'd find a review of Wii RE4 here on EG that utterly despises the controls, and a raft of comments (and so many comments since) that label it to be one of EGs big review gaffes as most people found them just great.

As for RUSE? Well seeing as you've picked two different websites it looks like you're simply trawling through reviews picking out anyone who complains about Move. Well, that's always gonna happen. As you're gathering anecdotal rather than statistical evidence, I think I'll look out for general consensus. Thanks anyway!

And I wish you all the joy in the world as you continue to use a tiny joystick to control your onscreen reticle.

is this a patch or are they selling a new game?
  • FogHeart #9 2 years ago

If you have Gold it can be patched. If you buy the Move edition no patch is necessary. But the first version that came out didn't have any way to patch it for Move (allegedly!) so if you got that one I'm afraid you're out of luck.

    tigerstyle = shit talking troll.

    /ignores

Well as a Wii owner that bought a PS3 slim as soon as Move was announced, I don't think that argument applies to me. Which if brain cell number one fired to life in your head you would have deduced when I said that the controls for the Wii are the same.

    Try again.
  • FogHeart #12 2 years ago

Ah...this is the guy who does the "It's a dildo" posts. Which is the kind of thing you'd hear made by the little children on South Park. No reasoned argument is possible. Time to ignore...

    Calm yourselves ladies...

I've been playing on Sports Champs since my move arrived and haven't had the chance to play on Resi, but I am a bit disappointed they used a massive reticule rather than stick to the laser pointer. Shame. Tho they did the same on Wii of course.

As for Resi5 being shit, having played thru it before I can say it felt solid but uninspired. But comparing it to Resi4 is ridiculous as that was the game to pretty much invent the over-the-shoulder shooter angle now used by gears of war and hundreds of other titles. Do you really expect game-changing mechanics in every iteration? Give em a break.
Racist as fuck tho... shooting African tribesmen in masks holding spears?? Dear lord...

PS Sports champions is mint and feels wicked to play, even the gladiator game is fun. Knackered my shoulder tho.

I got a Wii before Ps3, and REs 4 on Wii was so much easier and better with the wand.

How do I know, playing mercs you could knock up high scores that were similar to the best PS2 ones =on you tube, and that was a newbie player just with a head shot gimme controller.

My one concern is all the vids show a ghuge circle for aiming the gun, is this the case ?
  • Goodfella #18 2 years ago

    Indeed, took a while though.
  • knightmt #19 2 years ago

Enjoyed Resident evil 4 on the Wii and enjoyed Resident evil 5 on the PS3 will the multiplayer DLC work with the Move?
