look nice though i'm guessing most of that is FMV.
Shame they didn't remake it to the same control skeam as Res4 wii edition, never really got on with pre-resi4 versions of resi

That control system certainly is dated, even the RE4 system needs a decent overhaul to compete with other games today.

revoltkid, words fail me but I say this to you. You are so, so wrong it's not even funny. The controls are the best thing to happen to the series, they just need some tightening up for normal controllers really, the whole jiggery-aim was pretty inexcusable.

As for Resident Evil Zero, I very much remember crawling along the top of the train and trying to spot the gaps between FMV and the game. It's still one of the prettiest Resi games to date.

I'd love to see the RE4 control system used in it, but Resident Evil Zero, more than any other, is very very claustrophobic. There's not much room to move about, which kinda would hinder it. But hey, would be nice to see in any case...

i've killed THOUSANDS OF ZOMBIES (disguised as Spaniards) with the RE4 control scheme and never felt it hindered my ELITE zombie-slaying skills at all!
Looking forward to this becau.. BRAAAAAAAINNNSSSSS

I was just thinking of picking the gamecube version of this up for cheap ... I wonder if it'll be worth hanging on for the Wii?

    hmmmm.....

As for the RE4 controls, I kind of liked them on the cube version - trying to score a headshot as they villagers crowded in towards you really gave it allot of tension.

I must admit revoltkid, one thing that was annoying was it took ages to change weapon in RE4. Definitely unnecessary. Look at MGS, possibly and quick change a weapon using a similar method?

It kinda ruins / spoils the action having to go to a menu every few seconds, to heal, or choose a more ideal weapon.

Otherwise though, RE4 is one of the best single player games ever. Not sure what to make of Zero at this stage.
