Building a believable Old West meant a great deal of research and detail. This is how Rockstar went about it.

The list of "stuff to do" just kept coming
This was pootling around near the bottom of my interest list, but it just jumped right up to the top 5.

I freakin' love horses. Horse animations and details so far in the game world are best in Mount and Blade. Glad to see it take another leap in this high budget game.

First time poster / new user. Good to be part of Eurogamer massive instead of lurking.
Game looks awesome and for my money is one of most anticipated games of the year by a mile. Loved GUN on pc, had it's faults but hoping this takes care of all that with GTA level of attention to detail. Lasso me up and take me to the Sherriff.

I doubt very much there will be loading screens, as even breaking a large world down into 4 parts you would never fit all of any part into memory. There has to be streaming (or shed loads of loading screens, which I doubt they would do).

I mean, they can't even make the framerate smooth for a trailer, how is the game going to turn out? Joking, joking (well not entirely. While I agree we don't want them faking stuff up in trailers, I wish the concept of a smooth, high framerate wasn't so expendable these days).
Anyway, as usual, whoever is that directs these trailers - or any R* trailer for that matters - really is to be commended. Excellent. Simply excellent.
Oh, and the game looks good too, waiting eagerly.

Whatever the case, I am very VERY excited for the game. First thing I'll do in the game is get a trenchcoat. And a haircut (if possible). And behave like Malcom Reynolds - although, his horse was a spaceship.

Aside from that, this is a must-buy methinks.

If ever a trailer sold a game, it's that one. It looks like it's everything you'd want from a cowboy game and makes previous efforts such as Call of Juarez and, especially, GUN look weak. It has 10/10 written all over it and being from Rockstar you know it's not going to disappoint. I'm really looking forward to this game.
Shame it hasn't been announced for the PC (yet) but the Xbox 360 version looks fine, even if the framerate looks a bit low in places... I don't think it would bother me too much as the scope and scale of the game looks like it'll make up for any technical shortcomings.
