Early reviews suggest this is quite good (unlike fable :))

Err.. iv'e had the game for a month already (European, non-UK release has full English language support) and it is actually quite good.

I've played and finished this game already, same route as miseryguts.

It looks beautiful but is pretty small. Definitely requires the player to have played TW1 otherwise it's kinda confusing. Voice acting is ok apart from long pauses between sentences means *all* cutscenes/conversations take way too long.

The main problem is that the map shows 3 main islands with the one in the north being the biggest (and thus most interesting). So you play all the game (about 30 hours) expecting to suddenly get access to this large European-style world (other two are Middle-Eastern/African and Japanese) and then blam the game ends. About 80% of the main island is for MP (which I haven't played). The main TW2 forum is in uproar about this and the CEO is being a bit of weiner about it...

Apart from that, the only viable "class" is a warrior (or at best, a spellsword) as the magic becomes impossible in the latter half of the game due to awful balance. The sword (and optional shield/secondary) combat is somewhat enjoyable although it can be a bit like AC1 with the "block and counter" method pwning all.

I'd imagine a metascore between 70 and 85, depending on if they patch in DX10+ support before the main release.
