iD is sticking to what it knows it does best with new game Rage; Carmack's latest creation is a futuristic FPS set in a dusty world of down at heel technology. The trailer hints at a driving element too, although that is yet to be confirmed by iD.

Woohoo! I think this looks ace! I love post-apocalyptic, I enjoy a fair bit of FPS action and I've always wanted a free-roaming game with racing in it! Rage all the way!

Incredibly detailed graphics, but everything seems to be coated in plastic, which is a shame. Something that probably will be fixed before the release in about..... 3 years.

But I'm fearing for the driving controls, always the suck in FPS on PC.

That's more than a "hint" there is a drinving element IMO!!!!

Just hope it's a little better than Doom 3 which, though I enjoyed whilst playing to the end, was a little average with hindsight.

Chances are, it's just bad audio on the side of Eurogamer. It doesn't look like a direct feed, after all.

What's up with the monochrome palette? Seems like the game modelers are doing the best they can, but someone needs to tell the concept guys that Mad Max should stay in the 80s. Tell me I didn't see an enemy that wears a sack over his head.
