P.S. Oh and with reguards to the BF3 ad, it seems EA/DICE are still showing PC footage... they'll never learn idiots.

Is this like the game is or did something get lost when recording.?

I'm pretty sure during Carmacks' keynote at this years Quakecon he himself said that out of the two, having it installed on a 360 HDD was the best case scenario

Been trying the PC version (nVidia card so I haven't had the probems AMD users are getting) but the texture pop in is bad. The game looks really nice if you look at everything from afar but as soon as you go up close to anything it's a blurry, blocky uglyfest.
As redbarony said, The 'painted' sky background is quite laughable too.
The framerate is solid but overall very unimpressed to be honest.
Poor show id, poor show.

It looks like a 9/10 game but it seems to play more like about 6/10.

Why do we put up with this bilge?
F.E.A.R. had great A.I. that would tactically flank you. Red Dead Redemption gave you a horse, a gun and a wild frontier. It is possible to have a freely explorable FPS without dipshit enemies and lively art direction. Halo managed it. Why accept something retrograde?

I showed it to my mate who wants it on the pc but was gonna wait till they patch up the problems there having but now he played for a few hours last night on my xbox then it really swayed him to get it that night as he loved the gameplay!
id have not produced a game to change things but the have made one where its shit loads of fun to kill things!
