Ah, cool; it's Count Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums (the title of the song, in case you didn't know).

Great trailer! I might just get this one. I hope there's a Doom 4 teaser hidden somewhere on the disk. . . .

The original, Pet, is still better than the remix.

It's funny to see that song attached to a videogame because the lyrics (at least pre remix) are about being a placated citizen.

I'm still undecided about Rage. For me ID software is this legendary developer that made Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake. Those games were exciting because they brought groundbreaking tech to really great game play. The last ID Software game I bought was Doom 3 and it was a technological marvel, but as a game it was derivative and had too many faults (especially the "I can't see anything as soon as I shoot" thing). After getting over the awesome tech, it was mostly just uninteresting.

Rage seems to become another technological marvel, but while I've seen every Rage trailer, none of it grabbed me as a gamer. Yes it *does* look fantastic (especially at 60fps), but this is not the nineties anymore where great forward thinking tech is unique and can sell games. Now we have Uncharted, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Killzone etc that also bring real innovation and great gameplay.

I really respect John Carmack and he still seems to be on top of the game as far as tech goes, but Rage.... I dunno.... I hope it's much better than what they've been showing so far from a game play perspective. Nonetheless I'll still buy it just to see what Carmack's tech has brought us.

I just don't get the mixed response to RAGE from so many gamers.
As a core shooter fan I can hardly bloody wait.
It just looks incredible - everything I wish FO3 should have been.
Seriously hope this just blows peoples' expectations away.
    Bring It!!

@JadedSoul - id's John Carmack is a huge fan of bands like NIN and A Perfect Circle so Ithink the linke would have been intentional.
