I don't normally buy games on release day but I'll be making an exception with this. Love the character animations that I'll be shooting, blowing up, spider-botting, turreting and boomeranging ;p

For want of a better turn of phrase, this looks "fucking immense"! The production design is stellar, the areas are clearly designed so that you can exercise your markmanship and the scripted events break up the action. That's without mentioning the fluid animation, the scale of some of the environment and the fact that they seem to have got vehicular combat 'right'.

Looks great but I've just seen and done this king of thing sooooooo many times. Borderlands, Half Life 2, Strangers Wrath, Gears of War, FEAR, Fallout 3. Theres only so much shooting mutants in a post apocalypse world you can do!

Let's facelift bar? Why is spam so enthrallingly cryptic?

But, aye, rage looks incredible. I was pretty underwhelmed by the visuals on the console version of the BF3 beta so I hope rage can live up to these videos. It looks bloody brilliant, and fun too.
