The 3d mode and the arcade mode both look totally rubbish. Guess I'll take the VC versions then.

The static boss enemies are a little too retro, I think. Couldn't they have animated them a little?

I thnk keeping it authentic is much more important, R-type is probably the perfect shmup and R-type 2 is a great game as well. Besides those are just the first 2 bosses in both games. There's better ones later on.

Just hope this plays like the originals. Have to say the arcade mode and 3D perspective look crap hopefully they can be turned off.
