kinda (")over-directed('") for a dev diary if you know what I mean... still, everything I've seen to date, makes this a must-buy for me... who knows, I might even enjoy this more than that GTA thing coming up (puts protective gear on)...

cheers...

So they're the combine and any other faceless grunt in any other game.

@Konstantinos

No need for the protective gear. I grow less and less impressed with GTA games as they go on. Heck I liked Saint's Row more than San Andreas!

This game looks like a better version of crackdown so I'm going to be buying it....I wish sony would make achievements as I tend to get the 360 versions of games because I like to see those pop up when I've done something that I deem noteworthy but, have no-one around me to pat me on the back.

Has anyone thought to tell the MOD that the Blackwatch are a sinister and secret military elite rather than a one of their regiments?

"They're BEYOND top secret!"

How do you go beyond the top?

Anyway, let's hope this is better than their other games, looks pretty cool.

Better than their other games, such as the Hulks, Hit & Run, and Scarface?

Yeah, 'cos they were soooo shit!

The hyperbole did start to grate after a while, but it wasn't bad as dev diaries go. For the record there are achievements in ps3 games too... Mind you guitar hero 3 made the whole achievement thing pretty ridiculous.

Well, they're not going to create a dev diary and tell you it's mediocre, are they? But true, it was much like one of those "hundred greatest" countdown shows, where every other person or movie really "broke new ground, and did something that had never been done".

Or maybe we're all just elderly and cynical. Still looks good though.
