Graphics look better which was much needed after the shoddy first outing

"Where do you go next"? That is a question that you, as a developer, should answer, not avoid altogether.

Dragon Ball Z did not turn Goku into a villain, Terminator 2 actually managed to turn a crazy powerful villain into one of the hero characters, and Arkham City boasts the majority, if not entirety of Batman's arsenal you had by the end of Arkham Asylum.

It just feels like they're taking the cheap way out.

2012, eh? Still plenty of time for Activision to cancel it then.

    Shiny!

The plot deviation seems ok to me - it's obviously a mcguffin but since mercer died before the first game started it's not terrible.

I was interested in this as I preferred the original over Infamous (blasphemy I know) but I really have no desire whatsoever to fight mercer. Just seems like a cop out really.

Besides didnt the first one pretty much explicitly state mercer is unkillable due to him being somewhat dead already and essentially being a conduit for the virus?

Trying to punch a virus to death doesn't strike me as a good idea.

The main villain of the game will give powers to the main character, that will seek revenge...there is already a game with this story: is inFamous!
    Nice plagiarism Radical Entertainment!
