Not bad. The combat felt so satisfying in FEAR so I hope the sequel has retained that. On the minus side, it does look awefully similar to FEAR. Not graphically but art-wise; I don't want to see grey corridors with wooden objects leaning against a metal rail again.

chocadoodlepoo - this isn't the official sequel to FEAR, but I understand Warner/Monolith have licenced the FEAR brand back out from Vivendi and set this game in the same universe to explore Alma's origins (hence the name...). The proper FEAR sequel is on its way, although I can't recall its name or who is on development duty.

Anyway, I enjoyed FEAR (got tired of it long before the end though), but this looks like it might be Monolith's most unimaginative game yet.

I guess it looks spangly and all but really the clip shown looks too brightly lit and action-packed to be 'scary'. Less is more when it comes to chills - Alien Resurrection on PS1 had it about right.
