Doesn't that sword get in his way?

How could they miss the mark so widely? He even says at the beginning that he thinks of the prince as a young acrobatic adventurer and then the game contains a male and female duo who simply run from place to place fighting single opponents and collecting orbs.

Does he even realise that the prince of persia was trying to protect persia and that's how the whole mess started? Or that trying to restore persia to what it was before the accident with the sands, was the players motivation?

Did they even play the previous games in the series?

Why do I get the feeling the answer is NO to all those questions.

While the game looks beautiful and I can't wait to play it, there are some glaring problems that probably won't be addressed. First, I am worried about the Prince's attitude. In the previous games, he was surly, arrogant, noble, kind, and overall very complex. He wasn't trying to save the world, but he was trying to save his own skin and Persia.

I think Elika gets in the way of the adventure and you actually care about her less.....In Ico, it was your job to save the helpless Yorda allowing you to become closer to your charge. Elika obviously doesn't need the Prince to go adventuring since she can fly and do all types of cool stuff the Prince can't. She outshines the Prince so much this game should be called Elika: Arabian Nights.
