Looks sweet, what a great XBLA title. Are these the original levels? A couple of bits look identical, but the magic mirror seems to have moved -- also it looks like the Prince has a few more skills than in the original (eg. that wall bounce), so I guess that would mandate a redesign.

I just hope they bring back that razor-gates death animation.

Did anyone play the 3-D remake of PoP's first level that was unlockable in one of the versions of Sands?

Looks very very nice. I don't particularly remember the original PoP but if/when I get a 360 I might have to get this.

It looks as though Ubi may have got rid of the wall-running and time manipulation, which is probably more suited to this style of game.

PS - monkie, I played the short but sweet PoP remake on TSoT. Shame they couldn't finish it, because it was a lot of fun.

That's a bloody brilliant idea. May well be the first game I'll buy on the XBLA. If I won't be tempted into obtaining Doom that is.

I was always incredibly bad at this game. I wonder if anything has changed...

I fucking hated classic PoP because of the movement - those unbelievably long boring animations. Innovative, yes, but the start of a lot of games which were a bag of unresponsive shite to play.

I am SO glad they decided to overhaul the movement. Bravo to whoever at Ubi had the balls to fix a classic.
