The Prince returns, dusky maiden in tow, for his first next-gen adventure. There's all the usual leaping and exploration, but combat has shifted to a two-on-one focus, with duels against single foes the order of the day.

1. The girl follows you rather than being directly lead.
2. The combat is more involved.
Heck, you even need the girl to stand on symbols to open doors and allow you to progress. In Ico the girl had to stand near the pillars for them to activate and let you through (until you got the sword).
Original ideas my arse!
If you have to lead her by the hand at any point in the game I will not be impressed.

When the COD5 trailer starts, just hit refresh. Page reloads with right vid without having to sit through a two minute effing advert for a two minute trailer.

Does that work again? It used to, and then it stopped working (and my face turned brighton purple).

Hmm, maybe it works again. Hallelujah!
@penhalion
Seriously though, does any of that matter. I'd much rather play a fun game that wasn't original than a truly original idea that turns out to be balls. Yes I realise you can have both, but rarely.
If its a fun game to play, I don't really care whether it has borrowed ideas from ICO. ICO was not the first game to use a protection mechanic you know, and neither is ICO some holy book to be revered. It was a very good game, that is all.

The big greek style windmills are an onbious signpost to Ico, and that is a very, very good thing (if they get it right).
"neither is ICO some holy book to be revered"
On that, Sir, I believe you are mistaken.
