Bundled alongside Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2 in The Orange Box, Portal gives you an unusual weapon and lots of puzzles to overcome with it. The original mod was very enjoyable - this should be even better.

Any reason why they couldn't? This is being developed for next generation consoles after all.

Prey has the portals, but the source engine gives them to the user to control and play with.
Source beats Doom 3 engine because it lets you play, I guess?
