Looks like a pointless add-on which will be over-priced, and which will also get very little support.
Least the MS Natal goes beyond the controller, however i see that is still another pointless add-on aswell.

I'm a serious gamer and look forward to this a lot. It will be great to finally play HD console FPS games with a decent input method.

After 17 years of keyboard and mouse gaming, I still cant get used to being gimped by analogue sticks. Metroid on the Wii showed me how fluid these new controllers can be, so I can see huge potential here for the core gamer crowd.

@systems to be fair this has the potential to be better then the wiimote posibly more acurate and the addition of the camera allows you to a be in the game and b get extra control using eyetoy style motion capture. This is definately more appealing then Natal, which from what i can see is just eyetoy with better responce.

@Moz, is this not just "eyetoy with better response"? because it is eyetoy, with an ADDED peripheral to provide better response. Theres nowt wrong with pads IMHO.

Man, that looks crap. And the person who said that the voiceover woman sounded unenthusiastic was right - she sounded like someone had just shot her dog and stole her boyfriend.

I thought Sony were smarter than to just directly nick an old idea from Nintendo.
