Awesome. This will undoubtedly be the best PSN title since...PJShooter 1. :)

Dear, oh dear. It's "Thrust" without the collision detection.

I will be furiously refreshing the PSN store come Wednesday afternoon.

That's not really a trailer, is it?

I still think Shooter needs no multiplayer, but a level editor.

    Anyway, a definite must have.

@zedzee - it doesn't try to be "Thrust" or play anything like "Thrust" (which I remember and loved on C64)

PJ Shooter 1 was released at the same time as "Gravity Crash" which certainly is "Thrust HD" (and is a perfectly fine attempt) but PJ Shooter is more about messing around with the different fluid physics and working out the puzzles. Precise control isn't a pre-requisite (unlike Thrust) and it's more enjoyable than either Gravity Crash or Thrust.

Two-player co-op is ace fun for anyone from 4 to 44

The collision detection used in PJS 1 (for shots, lava and enemies) is flawless but you can't critisise a game for not being something it never sets out to be.

@suhawk75: what I'm criticizing is the lack of originality in all of these network games. PizelJunk might as well just use the second word in their name. All I can see is a ship picking stuff up and carrying it around, while attempting the best way/route to do that, minus the hazard of crashing if you hit the walls. That, to me, is Thrust without the collision detection.

Oh, by the way, I was referring to the original Thrust on the BBC Micro - I don't know of or care much for any degenerate conversions to inferior home computers of that period.
