The software line-up on this thing is crazy.

First time I've been excited about a handheld.

EDIT: If this is an indication of what to expect of their next home console, then o_O

I presume Pilot wings is set on the Wii Sports Resort Island. In which case it is less detailed than the graphics on the n64 version.

Very nice lineup. Graphics look extremely nice as well. I hope though that developers continue to value a solid framerate over effects like they did with the DS (probably because it wasn't capable anyway).

Very excited about this console. I was skeptical about the DS at first a bit but it's proven to be one of the best consoles Nintendo has ever released and I will be so getting the 3ds on day 1.

They would have to, With the paralax barrier technique - the 3d effect wont work properly at low framerates.

Looks great. I must said 'bloody hell that looks nice' more times than I can remember...

... However, I was hoping to see a new IP or two. They will come, although it would've been nice to see them at launch

@smelly: actually the way the 3DS works, framerate is irrelevant as long as both eyes are in sync.

They had me with Starfox TBH but my god the 3DS is shaping up to be a rather exiting handheld with those graphics and line up (although more shooty shooty RE rather than traditional RE is a let down but that's Capcoms fault not ninty's). Couldn't give rats arse about the actual 3D aspect though.

With this for games and my phone doing the music and video now PSP2 has nothing to offer me. Your move Sony....

Amazing, Resi and Metal Gear looks unbelievable, and Zelda! Some of the games on show do look suspiciously under developed though. Very excited.

The soundtrack for that showreel was absolutley shocking!

The line up of software looks quite impressive, although there are too many ports of existing games for my liking.
