From the screenshots ive seen of this, i think i should stick with this one unlike the first one on the xbox, i coudlnt even do the second level without shouting and screamin, just maybe its not a game for me

I just hope the blocking and cancelling is dramatically improved and not make those black ninjas stupidly hard. I have no complaints about the difficulty level(s) but there are a lot of things in Ninja Gaiden that needs tightening up.

Can't wait for this. I can't imagine how good it's going to look. When you consider how good NG1 looked and indeed still does look, this should be a real treat for the eyes.

More than anything though, I hope it's as smooth and silky as before. That's what always sticks out in my mind about NG.

Man, Ninja Gaiden must be one of the most over rated games in history. Bought it and tried it then threw the shit away in less than an hour.
There I was, expecting a challenging atmospheric period piece and all I got was a retarded contemporary hack and slash.

Truly a game for kids.

Now, Sword of the Samurai or Bushido Blade...

seriously though, i am now jealous of every 360 owner...took the console long enough though...what is that year and a half years or so...or was it 2 years...hmm...i love ninja gaiden games, seems to be just my difficulty level (unlike dmc3, yeah that has a difficulty curve like running into a brick wall)....oh and plus its a ninja game.....any man who doesn't inherently love ninja's has something wrong with them (pirates will do.....hell if you love ninja pirates you officially rock) but i digress...

Think it's fair to assume Smugglarn got stuck on the first boss then!!! ;0)

I consider myself among the priviledged to have played this through to the end.... a f*cking challenge it was as well, though I found the katana "jump and mid-air lung thingy" was particularly useful when the difficulty ramped up.

I was never stupid/crazy/man enough to try the hard hard difficult though... I dread to think how many controllers I'd have made it through :/

Yas! For some reason I thought this was gonna end up as a PS3 exclusive.

Ninja Gaiden 1 on the Xbox was not a perfect game but the combat was a lot of fun. Didn't like the useless first person look feature, the item menu that made you pause to use potions, the weak shuriken, or the tacked on plot. Did like the visuals, controls, cool ninja combat, and huge bosses. Hopefully NG2 will fix all NG1 faults.

Black Spider Ninjas were easy peasy, only tough if you just stand still holding block all the time. Roll and attack.

Best Ninja Game I have ever played, Period !! could not put down the first one and cannot wait for this follow up. pre-order for me!

As in really 'fix' it. Controllable camera sucks in these kind of games.
