    Looks wonderful. I wonder if any of the big GW authors wrote the story or if Relic did it themselves?

    @Davemanz
    Considering how non-canon a lot of it looks, I hope no GW authors sullied their hands on this game.

    looks like a real cheesy interpretation of the wonderfully dark Warhammer 40k universe.
    god knows how GW allowed this corny vision of one of their chief IPs to be let loose.

    Adeptus Astartes would never have said shit like that

    "Adeptus Astartes would never have said shit like that"

    Like what? "This day is getting interesting?" What the hell is wrong with that?

    Honestly some people will complain at anything. I grew up with W40k and it looks and sounds damn well like that world to me. Fuck knows what you lot have been playing all these years.

    If you read some of the novels you'd know that it's not like they don't say shit like that but they don't really act like some American movie action hero which the trailer tries really hard to convey.
    Somehow I don't have too high expectations conserning this game but the name will sell it anyway.

    Oh no! Why can't this game by the dry rules driving table top game we all know and love. Why does it have to add elements like fun and cheesy dialogue. I want my 40k games boring and have the gameplay of stop motion films... WHY CRUEL WORLD!!!! WHY!!!?!?!?

    The dialogue and slow build up gameplay in Dawn of War was brilliant, but thats just not going to cut it with a TPS style game to be honest. You do need a bit of artistic licence and cheese to keep anything running along nicely.

    @andromeda

    Playing with little plastic men on your mums dining table isn't wonderfully dark.
    The darkest thing about Warhammer is gluing your fingers together.

    @username84 I don't know, some of those citadel paints are quite dark as well.
