Mehhh... I want the old Devil May Cry back... I want the old dante back . This sucks compared to the original Dante! screw you capcom for ruining Devil May Cry and Resident Evil.

For me the art style and the world design are by far the most interesting things here.
The combat looks ok but I fear It won't be enough to make this DmC stand out.

This is the first Devil May Cry game I've given a crap about since selling the first one a week after it came out. In true Ninja Theory fashion, the art design and environments look gorgeous; reminds me of Alice: Madness Returns.

Soulless would be the word I'd use so far.
Where is the wackyness of the DMC franchise? Where are the tongue-in-the-cheek corny dialogues? Over the top bosses? Where is a likable main character?
I was hoping Capcom will scrap this and start doing it themselves after seeing this but that was just wishfull thinking obviously. They actually want it to appeal to a broader western audience, NOT to the DMC fanbase.

Btw, have I seen only this video, I'd say it's a good PS2 look.

I'm hoping the enemy AI gets a lot better than this, I wanted to see him get hit from not paying attention to stray enemies or having to dodge without their weapons glowing (God of War anyone?). Also it seems to me they are too focused on making only aerial combos look good.

So visually not as interesting, and gameplay wise just the same as DMC 4 - but with a lower framerate.
