But let's face it what we all really want to see is some multiplayer in action.

that distortion.......it is not a game feature dude......it's just the way the gameplay montage is made....an editing option....that is why everybody is downvoting your comment - because it is stupid, that simple

Very good to hear that, thanks... this stuff *was* a "feature" in Kane & Lynch 2, so I was really worrying that it would be in the engine of BF3... my mind is at peace now.

Looks pretty but we're still yet to see any destruction, is it actually part of the game now or are they concentrating on prettiness? And exploding cars don't count.
Not keen on the obvious QTE bit either but as long as they keep that to a minimum it's not a game breaker.
What I'm most bothered about is the controls and whether little things like small inclines and toppled lampposts are going to scupper my avatar's movement. Bad Company 2 closed the gap significantly on COD like smooth controls but still had its annoyances, I'm hoping this goes the extra distance. I don't want it to play like COD, just match the smooth controls. I have faith in DICE though, they'll get there.

(AI) routines because in Battlfield Bad Company 2 the game was
heavilly scripted.
Wich meant that every time you played the same level, because for
example you where shot and had to play again, the enemies poped
from exactly the same positions.
I think that today FPS games are evolving in graphics but are leaving
far behind advanced AI programming and Randomization techniques.
Yes, programmers are either underestimating the importance of AI or
are really becoming lazy these days.
Let's see if Battlfield 3 has the guts to change this situation.

I hope they have a full on earthquake in one of these episodes to show off the destructible environments. I would jizz.

I don't know any other developers who create such good sounding games. BFBC2 is just on another level to anything else, especially in "war tapes" mode.

First thing that crossed my mind. Thankfully the trailer got much better from there on.
