The Neverwinter expansions have mostly been very good. The last NWN2 one being particularly excellent.

Not sure if this one will live up to it as seems to be new devs, but interesting that they seem to be trying something new with it. Open world and buildin up a trade company.

Uh, no. It's the same developer (Obsidian) that developed Neverwinter Nights 2 and its first expansion, Mask of the Betrayer.

Well it's still Obsidian but not the same part of Obsidian. The devs who worked on Mask of the Betrayer have moved onto Alpha Protocol and the Aliens project.

Not quite. Quite a few developers who have worked on MotB are working on SoZ, as well (God, that acronym looks stupid). Here's the interview where I picked that info up:

It also says they've started working on SoZ when they were wrapping up MotB, which means, the same guys worked on some of SoZ, at least.
