Porsche challenge and hot pursuit 2 were the best NFS games release to date imo, any movement back in that direction, with someone like criterion behind it, has to be a winner, no?

Used to have hours of fun at LAN parties with the first Hot pursuit if this captures the old games spirit with modern racing game play i'm there.

@ DarthInsinuate -- WTF? I'm guessing your not old enough to remember the original NFS:HP HP is where competitive take-down race started Burnout etc. are all born from HP

You do realise that the game will look and play nothing like this at all.

The original HP played almost exactly like that (over 10 years ago) & S/S, Forza 3 and GT5 look pretty damb sweet so other then a little less fidelity in the finished game I think that trailer is probably pretty much on the money for the look and feel of the finished game.
