Whilst the lighting effects are nice, all I've seen so far is drifting down twisty roads at night. Could get pretty tiresome.

EA being lazy again, they have only slightly improved the Most wanted game engine and it looks more Underground than most wanted

So it has Project Gotham style Kudos scoring in it. Is that new for the Need for Speed? Never played this series but the Kudos scoring jumped out at me from that footage.

Looks a tiny bit too dark, but the skidding mechanic looks alright, more like the Drift races in Underground than the standard driving mechanic from the NFS games... could be good.

@glaeken: No, it's not new for NFS - the Drift races in Underground gave you points for decent drifting (as in long and as sideways as possible) - hitting a wall before you complete the drift would void the score.
