Hehe...you so can't play that game :) Ahh no wait, you got better.

Looks great though. Hope there are some decent control options...

Got this for the PS3 last night, thought it was amazing. So amazing that I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing it was, so I bought a Vita. Insane? Yes! but it is very good.

Shit looks awesome, wish they'd put it on PC or Wii.

@scoop I haven't played it too much so could be wrong but I actually think you can completely customise the controls. I personally didn't like accelerate and brake on the right stick so switched them to the shoulder buttons, seems I could of mapped them to any button I wished though

@peeps Coolbeans. I think I'm looking forward to this more than anything bizarrely - closest thing I've seen to Skidmarks for a long time.

Didn't care for it myself, but I can see the potential for multiplayer madness.

Played the 40 first medals on PS3, then when I got the Vita yesterday I installed the game and continued there, and sure enough it automatically picks up where I left off. Ok, it still came with the tutorial, but trophies were unlocking and by the time I started the first race I had my 40 medals and all the races I'd done already unlocked, very excellent stuff!

The PS3 version seems to have a slightly better frameratea and the water effects are nicer, but otherwise the game is great on both. And yeah, you can customise the controls. I just put braking on the L button, left it unchanged otherwise. Can get pretty challenging in some races later on. Currently at 61 medals (those next 21 were done on Vita) and from 50 onwards I started getting a new racemode, drift trial, where you have to drift for points. Quite fun.

It should be as good as Micro Machines but I just can't control the lil' bugger.

Great game but better on the PS3 IMO. The Vita version is effectively free anyway and good fun but that video really does highlight how juddery the framerate is as the poor old handheld struggles to run the game smoothly. I think Evolution should have scaled back the visuals a little more to maintain a more stable framerate personally as it can be very distracting while playing.
