You'd have trouble trying to find accident insurance to cover you for this. It's Evolution's PS3 off-road bonanza.

Looks pretty damn fun in my opinion! Brings back memories of Road Rash with that punch-happy Biker.

Can't help watching and saying to myself "nothing like those E3 movies... wankers"... It'll be a while before I get over that slap in the face.

Hoodcam is pretty damn close now, and looks stunning. And I was a pretty vocal sceptic all the time.

Really, it was the level of animation of the bike riders that was clearly not going to be possible, and that felt like a piss-take was being took, but the obvious downgrade in that department being a given, having seen the original vid, and seeing this, I'm honestly not dissappointed.

Shame it's not 60fps though, but with launch deadlines to be met I guess these sorts of compromises are to be expected.

Well, for an in-game footage trailer, it looks much better than the playable E3 2006 demo did. They certainly seem to have worked on the game, it even looks exactly like the original pre-rendered trailer at places. Good job, can't wait to read the reviews from the US.

Clarity and detail look rather good but that wasn't all gameplay footage. Still I would like to see a 360 racer look that nice.

Is anything being said about the realtime deformable terrain? I heard it featured this.

Looks alright but not fun by any stretch of the word though. Probably play it once and forever consign it to the collection.

Looks very nice and if they can really balance the different vehicles, this could be a very good game. As it's not a launch title anymore, they'll have plenty of time left for polish.

Yeah, it's looking good now, but there's still no real sign of these deep mud divets and "changing the surface of the track every lap" feature they were talking about.

What a sluggish blurry mess. If this is all the PS3 has to offer then Sony is going to have a hard time getting rid of $500-$600 consoles.

Actually, I've come around to this game. It looks pretty sweet now. As an industry though the focus needs to shift to interfaces. Graphics have got so amazing that the interface is such a huge limitation.

The graphics and physics on display here are of a very high standard. Looks like it could be a very fun game - online should be a hoot!
