the animations suck ass...

Animation, lip movement, gameplay, fighting mechanics... all these look like they suck ass, not just the animation. If it werent for the fact the release date is only a few days away I *could* give them the benefit of the doubt as a very early pre-alpha build but christ thats practially gold right there and it looks gash.

Still appears to be the exact same stiff, stilted fighting engine that they've used since Deadly Alliance. The freefall kombat looks dramatic, but the klose kombat sections break it down even more, and it looks like it will feel horribly unresponsive.

When they announced that they had licences Unreal Engine 3, they said they were going to rebuild MK from the ground up on next gen consoles, but this footage really makes it look like they instead tried to evolve their previous system, which was really pretty rubbish.

Did these people ever see how boobs look like? Small hint, they're not football-shaped.

This game looks bonkers... and shit.

I think the main problem is that most DC characters are wank in the first place and that the novelty of MK was wearing thin by the third game. Give me Marvel vs Capcom 2 anyday.
