But will I have to spend time learning to cook meat exactly right again?

This makes me excited but I had to return MH Freedom 1 after a while because it was too demanding and the gameplay didn't satisfy me. If the combat was as fast and visceral as say, Ninja Gaiden, and had the kind of high octane action of games like that or Ninja Blade, or God of War etc, then it would be a must buy.
As such, I feel the gameplay (controls and combat etc) are too restrictive. What they need is a grand open-world game environment with drop-in/drop-out co-op gameplay, faster combat and more exciting epic battles.
They should take a page out of Western developer's books and create a sandbox Monster Hunter game where you can go as far as the eye can see and plan your strategy properly, lay traps, lure the beasts etc. It actually annoys me how grand my vision is and yet Capcom keep making it so restrictive!
