I have this queued up for when I switch my Xbox on at home. What a saddo!

Sorry, doesn't have the magic of the original on Amiga....swapping 16 disks during the course of the adventure definitely added to the fun.

I just started playing the first one on PS3 last night. It was late so I was too tired to play for more than the first half hour, but assuming it's a fairly short game I certainly hope the pace (such as it is in an old school adventure game) picks up very quickly, because that first half hour was nothing more than moderately witty conversation and no puzzles.

I vaguely remember an old buddy of mine being a big fan of the LucasArts adventure games back in the early 90s, but I don't think I ever actually got around to playing any of them myself back then.

Are the controls really annoying or is it the one playing.

Man they have done such a good job with the soundtrack. I can hum along to the entire soundtrack of this game.

Does anyone know which company currently owns the Sierra adventures?

I always had a different idea of how the characters would sound in my head when I played the original versions - while I think Guybrush sounds like a perfect fit, Largo was just waaay off! But hey, that's just me, I'm sure there are others out there that feel the voices fit the style and mood perfectly.

Finished the game twice yesterday, second run was a speed-run. 1:15 minutes! :)

@Spydy - What... you didn't have the hard drive for the Amiga? ;)

Personally I only had to swap discs for the first game as by the time the second was released I owned the hard drive, which by some bizarre coincidence clipped onto the left hand side of the Amiga 500 much like the hard drive does on the current Xbox 360.
